We met then “Princess” on sunny Sunday afternoon. Amy was kind enough to bring “Princess” over for a meet and great with myself, wife, our daughter, 4 year old lab Stoudts and our two cats Munchkin and Barley. We had no idea how quickly we would fall for this dog! Right off the bat she got along great with our daughter, a bond that to this day is still solid! Stoudts did not know what to make of this visitor at first but they hit it off great! They both got a good workout chasing and playing outside in the yard! The cats are excited that there is another animal in the house thats more their size.
After an hour or so we knew this dog belonged in our family! We changed her name to “Piper” and she seemed to like it (a new name and a new beginning). She had a rough upbringing so we are still working on her confidence but she is smart as whip and has picked up most commands like sit, stay and come here in about a week. She spends her days hanging with us in the yard and romping around with her pal Stoudts and snuggles up at night in our daughters bed. The two have become inseparable! My wife and I love watching Piper pal around with her new pack and love even more when we get to join and play (she’s a busy dog)!
We are so happy to have met Piper and that she is now a part of our family! Thank you Castle of Dreams!
