The puppy, who we are naming Shamus (we decided that he is Irish apparently haha), seems happy and settled in. We had a great weekend and he is really a very good dog. He slept through the night the last 2 nights without any accidents or crying. We ended up taking him to the vet just to get checked out and found out that he has a heart murmur which the doctor said many puppies get and it should go away in 6 mths hopefully. He also has a parasite (coccidia) which is causing his stomach issues so they gave us medication for that. But he definitely has a great appetite and seems really happy and loving. It was very hard to leave him this morning but we have family members stopping by each day to give him some company!
Shamus is doing soooo well, it is amazing how big he is getting! He is such a good and loving dog, we are so happy with him as part of our family. He seems really happy and has visitors all the time when we are at work, mostly my sister in law’s three children. The whole family loves him!
