Hi Everyone,
I recently adopted Queen Jade (pronounced Jaydah). She came from a puppy mill in North Carolina by way of your organization. I picked her up in February and now she is a New York City diva. We just call her Jade (pronounced like the mineral). The vet says she’s somewhere between 3 and 5-years-old. She lives with me in the Lower East Side and visits the dog park at Tompkins Square every day, weather permitting. At the dog park they call her “The Sheriff” because if she thinks the other dogs are acting too rambunctious she charges her little self over and barks at them until they are back on their best behavior.
She was a sweet little girl when I met her and now she has blossomed into a happy healthy dog. I enclose a picture of her taken by my son 3 weeks ago which really tells the story!
